Hola!

Woman with red hair wearing a yellow polka dot dress, standing in front of a wall with framed pictures. A shelf with books and a potted plant is nearby.

Part I: Hello there, Wan here!

I’m a multifaceted creative. I both design and illustrate. While I enjoy connecting through Spanish, English, and German, my true passion lies in the Visual communication.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina (think Football, Messi, Mate, Argentinean Steak) and currently living in Berlin, Germany.

I enjoy coffee all-year-round, painting with gouache, yoga, reading in the sun and knitting.

Part II: Design everything, everywhere, all at once.

TLDR; I’m a designer. I work within the intersections of visual design, user experience/user interface and  illustration. This allows me to approach projects with a holistic perspective.

Branding & Design: I specialise in developing compelling and carefully bold identities & designs for individuals and companies, weaving in the unique stories and narratives that define them. And honestly? I love it.

UX/UI: a discipline that is deeply rooted in understanding user’s problems and needs, finding solutions and designing intuitive interfaces. I advocate for usability testings and being in contact with the user as much as possible throughout the creation process.

Illustration: my work is immersed in cheerful colours and diverse textures, combining both traditional and digital techniques to craft original pieces that tell stories, enhance messages and add a personal touch to any project.

Part II: My toolkit

Figma logo on a black background

Figma has become my go-to favourite tool and is nowadays the natural first step for any design exploration. The infinite canvas, the intuitive interface and its collaborative nature makes it ideal for working with teams and clients.

Procreate app logo on a black background

For illustrations, Procreate on my iPad is perfect. I am kind of old-school so I would use paper and pen first and then move onto my Ipad. The only downside: no vectors. That’s when Adobe Fresco and Illustrator come in handy.

Adobe logo, consisting of a stylized letter A in black on a red background.

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, Audition, Lightroom & Fresco)- over 15 years of using it and it is still where I find myself most comfortable to work with Audiovisual media and Designs.

Silhouette of a person wearing a hoodie, holding a heart in one hand and a middle finger gesture with the other.

Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher are tools that i’m still dipping my toes in yet I firmly believe in using software outside of the Adobe ecosystem.

And, of course, I also use iWork, MS Office, Google Office and write e-mails.
